Mr. Steamer: I wonder if the new Prochem unit with the Kobota will have belt problems? There are certainly none with the 405's

Mr. Steamer: I found the hose from the blower to the silencer to be a pain in the a** to change. that was on the Bruins which by the way I am glad I got rid of them. Belts were a daily ritual.Well not daily but too often

Mr. Steamer: I am 3 or 4 hours form anyone. I learned many years ago how to get dirty. I have always owned ProChem and they are not the easiest to work on.

Ted: I usually tradeup every 5 years. My units are still worth something and that helps. But I don't put the high hours on that city cleaners do.

Steamer, In western Canada I hear that it's not unusual for a carpet cleaner to upgrade his unit every three or four years. It works well out there. It must be a GTA thing to hold on to your baby and keep pumping money into it. |

Mr. Steamer: What I meant was the older machine Ted was referring to. There comes a time to trade.

Mr. Steamer: When an investment starts to cost you money it is time to get out of it and reinvest in one that makes you money
