We have 5 Prochem units. Dealer is only an hour away if something needs to be taken care of in a hurry. Who is your closest dealer? Will they stand behind what they sell?

Running a Butler unit for over 15 of my 25years and have had less than 3 hours of fixing and no lost business, period....... Not Many could make that claim. There are extremely dependable and a breeze to fix when necessary .

concentrate on the closest dealer. I bought a system 500 miles from my home.  it works great and i picked it up cheap but whos going to work on it when i have problems.  stop by the place and make sure they have a shop that works on machines.  the local dealer snubbed me when i asked him to work on my system from another company.  my mistake.....

I do own one panther 15 from Chemtex.  Its a good machine if you are just getting started with truckmounts and want to save some money ($13500 package installed in a trailer).  You can only run up to 250 feet of hose from it and it might be a bit underpowered so you may want to move to a panther 18 or 20 and get a bit more power.  Lots of suck for your buck for sure, easy to use.  Chem tex gave me their main techs cell number and he answers any questions I have from time to time.  They were a half day behind getting the machine ready for me on the day of pickup.  I dealt with it and didnt get mad.  Some folks told me they were obsolete but I dont really think so.  20 years ago my carpet machine sucked and sprayed, and today they do the same thing.  You can certainly spend $30000 and get the buttons and knobs, but most customers dont know one truckmount from another, and wont pay you an extra $50 per job cause you got a nicer setup.  You are better to start with a complete setup in the $15000-$20000 area.

Thanks for all the feedback. I have been doing a lot of research and still haven't came up with the right machine. Looking to spend 12-15K.
