doug, never said that i don't get repeats, I do all the time, just some truth to nightriders statement, just some of us won't admit it. It's the law of averages (you can't get'em all back).

Now, if your telling us you get all your custys to repeat... then i will put my boots on cause it don't happen. And if your fortunate that this happens to you then my hat is off for you. Clap  No disrespect to you or anyone.

Secrets, there aint none.Wink

Best, JL

Ted is my natural ally in the struggle, Nightrider. He sells the machines and wands and chemicals to get the carpets wet; and I get to invent the machines and accessaries to help get them dry again- fast! The better it is for him selling this stuff, the more people that need the cure.lol

Thanks. I have had lots of practice working the sales pitches into my conversations over the last 4 years or so. I don't even need to think about it anymore, as it is as natural to me as breathing by now.

I will keep you on my list as one to check for bites for in a years time. lol

Me too Steamer. I have cleaned for over 30,000 residentials in my 27 years in this biz, and I can tell you the power that fast drying of your cleaning has. I was able to move my cleaning charge up from .10 in 1997 to .50/sq by 2001 simply cause I was able to dry carpets in well under 1 hr using a TM. Nobody using HWE extraction can do that here.

The Power-Dry system is coming to Toronto in a big way in 2005. I already have 5 companies that are waiting for installation in the spring there so that they can dry carpets in under 10 minutes. I told them that I would help them with the installs in April when I am down a week for a wedding in the family. 12 hour dry times will not cut it after I sell alot more of these into the GTA, and I will.

2 hours is fine. 5 to 12? No. There is no need of it, and once word of mouth spreads to tell them that it is not neccesary, they will demand better of those that work for them.

I think 2-5 hours is a reasonable time... even 12 hours is fine...

you just have to let the people know AIR FLOW is the key..

but to each his own

Steamer,

Listen to Adwa. She takes the calls and talks to a lot of women through her hockey.

And remember...Chemdry came from nowhere and built the world's largest carpet cleaning organization by marketing the word "Dry, dry, dry, dry, dry..."

Steamer if you cleaned my carpets and got them dry fast. I just might give you a tip.

Women have not got the time to wait for the carpets to dry. In fact before booking a carpet cleaner this is whats on their mind. How long will they be wet? and then she would have to work her schedule around the drying time.   It may not be no big deal to you but it sure is to her.
