Yea, Same neighborhood upperscale 500-1000 at a time, every 2weeks or so.

A one time shot is not as effective...

Same with direct-mail...

TELEMARKETING WORKS GREAT, IT'S EASY......AND YOU CAN REACH AND ACTUALLY SPEAK TO AT LEAST 15 CUSTOMERS AN HOUR THAT ARE ACTUALLY INTERESTED IN WHAT YOU HAVE TO OFFER

Doug the sad reality is NO... I'm not doing only my own work....

to get enough calls you have to advertise... and when you do they get all the money....I need more forms of advetising...

it went well last year but the second you stop so do the calls....

when I sat down and looked at the year end figures...I was making the same if not more just subbing...

customers feel more comphy with a name they know.... the purse strings are a lot looser..

so I'll juggle the two this year....

Mr. Steamer has to clean dirty carpets
subbing calls are mostly clean

I'll spend 2 to 3 hours on my own call
I'll spend 1 to 1.5 hours on a subbing call

The only reason I stopped advertising...I hate to see the money go to someone else....

Steamer,

Never say no more...

I knew a man who invented a soda pop and called it 4Up and he put more into advertising and changed it to 5Up. Pumped even more advertising in and changed it to 6Up.

The moral of the story is that he was almost there but gave up. The following year someone invented 7Up.
