I would lay down prespray an maybe use an acid rinse concentrate or a small amount of emulsifier in the machine. Let the prespray do the work not so much the solution in the machine.

Why don't you just prespray first then add your emulsifier to your tank??

Ya I have a hydro-force, I agree thats is the only way to go. Question was not so much tip size, I am also aware of this. I would like to be able to use my 1.8 tip all the time seeing that most my chems ask for this dilution. Was i was asking was if you want to have a set tip in my case 1.8 with out switching, you would have to mix the chem in different oz to make up for the dilution of the HF. Most pre-srays have the mixture for a gallon RTU. Was wondering if some one had a conversion chart or cheet sheet that they made that would convert that to HF settings.
Like I sad in my example if you have a pre-spray that mixes 1.21 or 1 powered oz to the gallon, how many oz would you need for a HF with a 1.8 tip in it, to get to the proper 1.21 dilution ratio. You can do the math on this and this is may be what I have to do and make my own cheat sheet. Was just wondering if someone has already done the math due to the popularity of the HF. |

Again I under stand how to mix up to a gallon. Most chemicals say how much you mix up to a gallon. How much do you mix to HF with 1.8 tip. Look at my example how many oz do you need in HF with 5 quart container to get to 1.21.

Take the chart above and take the figure on the left and devide 6 (1:20dilution) by 8 (1:8tip) for 1 gallon imperial gallon (5 quarts US - 1 Imperial-Canadian gallon)- .75 oz

Not following what you are saying, are you saying 6 / 8? If so that not right.
