State Farm has been mine for 15 or so years, never had a claim so I don't know how they would be. They are pretty good on other insurance i have with them .

Mine is about 600.00 per year. I have a voluntary damage coverage.
Which basically pays upon my admitting that I screwed up and damaged a piece of someone else's goods, couch , carpet , or what have you.///
but it has a 250 or 500.00 deductible . So I have yet to have need
it also is 1,000,000.00 Liability , which is sometimes required on the larger industrial jobs.

Use the people that use you,   as many have said, it`s all about networking, if you have a customer that is in the insurance business,
or a member of your business groups/ don`t be afraid to ask, "if I use you, will you use me?" for flood extraction/restoration etc. we have even had calls from our insurance company directing us to remove red wine from carpet, their insured was claiming a new carpet, we removed it for a fraction of the cost of replacement, and charge full price..
I would not recommend using online insurance companies, you will never have this opportunity with them, and for the couple of pennies it will save, you make it back ten fold.
** the cost difference between $one million and two million is very little and many government contracts request it.
Good Luck
It`s not how far you fall...it`s how high you bounce back up...

I agree with Thermedix...If you do business with them don't be afraid to ask for the business back from them. We shop all of our insurance annually using 2 local brokers. For the past while each broker has come up more bells and whistles and savings and we simply go with the deal that gives us the most for the least.
Both of these brokers are great referral sources and centres of influence for both flood work and cleaning.
