Dennis ANY of my competitors will tell you I am willing to get them out of a jam.
I believe the more good carpet cleaners there are , the better it is for my business. The less problems there are, the better for all of us. Edited by LilNiteRidrhood - 18/September/2006 at 9:15pm |

There is no doubt in my mind or is that no mind in my doubt? people in the GTA are lucky to have Mr. Senter to be there for them. Attend his seminars and save everyone alot of trouble. he is worth every cent you pay??

General Lee, I'm just taking cheap shots at you , I wish I knew the little of what you forgot about carpet cleaning , and I would be ahead of the game.......I've cleaned all kinds of carpeting since 1985 and have absolutely NO CLUE of what I was doing........when I think back about it I should have taken some kind of course if only for the benefit of my customers

Holy smokes guys.
I listed those three things because these are the things that I find most old timers learn when they come to a class.
I think the CCT class is too short, it should be three days. I am encouraging Ted to at least have a spot removal class at the end of the first day after the regular class.
And you guys are right, you can learn a ton from this board.
Doug is a friggin encyclopedia on legs and Steamer and Cmaster have seen just about every problem there is to be had.
Deennis is oK seems on track behind his vale of secrecy and Nightrider is the reincarnation of Einstein.
Add to that Ted the Carpetologist and (gulp don't shoot me) Ken Harris and you don't need much more.
If I forgot anyone else excuse me no offense intended, I just don't know you. Edited by LilNiteRidrhood - 17/September/2006 at 7:27pm |

The ONLY thing a certified cleaner knows is how to pass a multiple guess test after two days of book class and 10 minutes of hands on. Actually not everybody in the hands on actually goes hands on.

Thanks General Lee.............so what you're saying is that there is only 3 things to know about carpet cleaning.......that seems easy enough
I guess it's like my restaurant......Don't burn the toast,..... put enough spice to mask the smell of rot, &.........dilute the Pepsi with ice cubes
Now everyone can be a carpet cleaner or a restauranteur
