Today I used 10 scoops of formula 90 2 scoops energiser. Results same. Cut it down by almost half.

Shortly I''ll be testing the amount for liquid tide.

I find that I always use closer to half of the recommended dilution with emulsifiers

if you need a strong emulsifier chances are you need a better prespray

that's my opinion anyways

A.K.A.

Ok!! Found out supposed to use 12 scoops of formula 90 which is  1 1/2 pounds of that powder stuff and 2 scoop energizer per 5 gallon solution tank.

Lastly each chemspec scoop that you find in your containers with most of your chemicals when you buy them is equivalent to 2 ounces. Just thought I'd share that very valuable expensive information.

My basic point is..... carpet cleaning detergent and laundry detergent have very simular make ups.

if tide made a carpet cleaning detergent, it would put you all out of business.

it's just like the word"scotchgard"

it means alot to the home consumer...

everything has mark up.......

it's up to the consumer to find what has more bang for their buck.

Steamer

Just ran into your Uncle - he says hello

Don't you wish carpet cleaning or carpet cleaning chemicals for that matter had the mark up like Computer software or pharmaceuticals.

When you spend 700.00 on Microsoft office in the past at least you got a manual that no one ever read. Now you even have to print that out if you want it.

A friend of mine does international sales for a generic drug company. The package is the most expensive thing there. Granted, Microsoft and big pharma spends millions developing them but talk about margin.

Jim,

Specialty chems have a high mark up, just because it's labeled carpet cleaning soap, doesn't mean it's better than laundry detergent, in some cases it just might be laundry detergent.

People are willing to pay more of specialty products, like we all do when we buy chem spec or prochem or what ever else.

It's up to the consumer to open their own eyes.

Tide is not the only thing that does the cleaning, it's also my many years of experience, and my $50,000 dollar truck on the drive way.

it's hard to run out to home depot and buy a $50,000. dollar truck...lol

Yes you have the do it yourself'er out there but alot of people just rather pay someone else to do it. thats the bottom line.

Here's one for you Jim,  I have a problem ... my grass keeps growing.  I own a lawn mower... I know how to cut it...

why do I call someone else to do it???

I know how... I own a lawn mower

hmmmmmm
