Has anybody used an rx20 with the scrubber head to clean large commercial concrete floors ?
I have a customer who would like about 5000sq feet cleaned monthly and was wondering if it has been done or is an rx20 no good for doing this job?? Should i just spend the money and buy a Autofloor scrubber? Post your feed back and let me know thanks Edited by ezebill - 23/October/2006 at 12:40am |

Either use an autoscrubber or use a floor machine and wet vac. I think I would go the floor machine/wet vac way. I would run two 21inch floor machines, while a third person applies the degreaser and sucks up the scrubbing mess. With 3 people it would be a fairly fast job. |

It could always be worse. I mean you could be some carpet stain being emulsified by pre-spray all the while watching a wand spraying really hot solution aiming stright for you.

Hey Night rider are you refering to me about running a business? If so how do you know how i run my business if you have nothing good to say then don't reply, if your refering to my customer who cares what they should do, if they would like a good cleaning on a concrete floor with some sort of a powered machine then do the job offer good service with the correct tools, the reason for my question.
Thanks for your input i'am sure you have those rotten tomatoes in your van with that sort of an attitude. |

Ezebill............... If you have NO CLUE as to what machinery is needed to do a job in which you should be a professional in then move on to pumping gas at your local gas station As far as me replying to ridiculas posts like yours is done for my amusement and to give others like you a wake up call to think before posting nonsence.........as you can see only 1 other thought your post held any water.
Sucks to be you...................................

Wow. I am here to learn about this busines too.
Does this mean I shouldn't ask questions about how to go about jobs?
I have learned everything I know by just going out there and trying it and asking questions from some really helpful people.
Matter of fact, I have learned allota stuff by reading some of your marketing ideas, nightrider. Should I just give up because I didn't know that before reading it written by you?

KnowsLittle...........What a GREAT name you chose............If all your education was obtained by posting questions here and listening to others that post here............YOU ARE IN BIG TROUBLE ...........KleenKuip offers courses to potential carpet cleaners not just to give out free sandwiches & drinks to those who come to lay their money down.
The carpet cleaning industry has a bad name because of wanna-bees like you and many others who learn on the fly and destroy peoples belongings, carry NO Insurance, grab the cash don't pay taxes, don't charge taxes, play the switch & bait game, and extort honest customers with lack of knowledge and professionalism.
Let's face it.............any unemployed or welfare case can buy a portable and call themself a carpet cleaner.................but can they properly clean a carpet with know-how and expertise..........I highly doubt it.
The only smart thing you did was learn some of my marketing tricks, but my tricks are intended to make you money without hurting any others financially.

I'am glad the admin. has posted the reason for this forum because for the new guys out there to learn forums are awesome i guess maybe some people hadn't thought of using an rx20 to scrub concrete and i also guess that this is the reason for them selling a scrubber assembly for an rx20, anyways if anybody has used an rx20 for scrubbing concrete floors i'd love to know the results with the exception of nightrider if you have some relevant new please post i use a hydramaster boxxer 421 it can suck up well over 1000lbs or rotten tomatoes Thanks Bill

ezebill,
A 20 inch electric or batter auto scrubber will clean approx. 2000 sq. ft. per hour. Used battery ($3,500.00) Electric ($2,500.00).
Or look at the New Ninja 1200 psi Hard Surface Cleaner. This will do the job plus put you into a new venture. On the other hand buy the RX-20 head. It will be the least expensive if you already own an RX-20.
