My question is on the rotovac, I'm thinking about buying one. Is it good on heavy stain carpets. What are the pros and cons with the rotovac. Thank you

Are you talking about the older style 2 headed rotovac or the newer rotovac 360?

Ok. I have the two headed model. In short the pros are it is an excellent tool for heavily soiled carpets. It is physically very easy to use. Customers are impressed by it. You'll get comments about other cleaners have never used anything like it and you can use that opportunity to tell them why it is better than wand cleaning.

The cons are it is definatly slower than wand cleaning especially on lightly soiled carpets. For this reason I find that I only use it maybe one out of every 8 jobs or so. It also leaves the carpet wetter than a glided wand. I use air movers to minimize this.

If you have an interest in the original Rotovac Classic I have 2...consider them demo models. As we say, they will dig potatoes out of the carpet.

Call me anytime at 1-800-565-2574 I will gladly discuss the pro's and con's of the Rotovac Classic...that also cleans grout lines.
