I'm looking at purchasing Cimex for larger commercial jobs. I've been told pads work better than the carpet brush, any input? Also how well can I expect to clean restaurant heavy soil and grease? Claims of 2000-3000 SF per hour cleaning ability?True False? Any overall input on the machine or procedures appreciated.

All sounds right to me....the pads work way better on CGL...I think the brushes bog the machine down...more for hard surfaces.
I cleaned 4000 sq ft of office last week...it took around 2 1/2 hours...thats with prevac |

Yes Poly Pads do work better than brushes and 2000 to 3000 sq. ft. also is obtainable. But, only on a clean carpet that you are maintaining. Cimex is not the answer in a greasy restaurant unless worked in combination with extraction.
You should be looking at our Accelerator machine that uses pure cotton pads and oscillation. Now that will give you the speed and quality you are looking for. Even in heavily soiled situations.
