   What is it?
Last week our What is it? was a Hydrosensor II.
This week we are introducing to you much more sophistication and an instrument that can make you not only a hero but lots of cash. 
 It's called a Tramex Moisture Encounter

A non-destructive overall building inspection tool that has applications for many industries including but not limited to: building/home inspection, roofing, drywall, painting, flood and water restoration, flooring, pest control, indoor air quality, and urine in carpets.
When the dial goes wild and the light starts flashing the cash register starts ringing. People will not believe your personal findings but will believe this instrument.

	Ted: We have been using this instrument for many years, However the person in the pictures is holding the moisture encounter wrong. It must be held horizontillay on the walls to get a acuratate moisture reading. In some circumstances it will still be necessary to use a protruding instrument for outside walls where insulation is involved and so on . But it is still a very valuable instrument to have in your arsenal of water damage equipment.
