Becasue Toronto is large comapred to other Canadian cities, your question is a large one. As far as places to go - it depends on your interests but i would choose Science centre (Don Mills Road). Downtown you have Cn Tower, Theatre District, Queen Street, Ontario Place. There is also St. lawrence market, kensington Market and so much ethnic diversity. great place to be atourist.
As far as food - there is everything from inexpensive to way overpriced. My recommendations would be based on where you are staying and A BUDGET. Please advise |

Greg Toronto is very multicultural. If you like Greek food, you go down to the Danforth. If you like Italian you go to St. Clair Ave. Chinese is everywhere. Looking forward to meeting you. |

Greg You can walk just about anywhere downtown along Queen street ,Yonge street or the best yet the water front. You will see great deli's or café's even the hot dog stands are good. June is a great month to be here, everyone is still in a good mood because the humidity is not to high. Enjoy |

I think there is a place called the Snowden deli (or maybe the Cente Street Deli) on Yonge Street. It is run by the daughter of a fellow who started the Snowden Deli in Montreal. Apparently great smoked meat. I have never been but maybe your friends know about it

There is a good deli (NewYork's? maybe) on the west side of Bay Street south of Bloor with Montreal smoked meat. AWESOME. But the shopping around there is friggin expensive. |

A great place not too far from the hockey hall is Benihana inside the Royal York. http://www.benihana.com/default.asp For shopping like you have never seen, go to Hazelton Lanes in Yorkville (bring wallet and all credit cards) |
