Distilled water, which works very well for us. We started using it on silk rugs fabrics and some other fabrics and more recently on leather and now on most jobs we do. I wonder if I need Safety data sheets.

Actually Harry some water SHOULD have msds sheets, to clean a carpet with tap water could be a residue problem in some areas.
Laugh if you like, but some water is so full of minerals that it should be regulated..LOL |

Doug - Interesting Answer. Of course everyone will have their own opinion, however, if you have not heard, the CRI has asked all companies to submit products for testing. So far we have not found anything in Abstraction that falls under the WHMIS hazard list of chems, but will complete the research soon.
