OP is something I don't want to be sold on... I guess I'll have to accept it on my own time...

as for .38 cents per sq ft in the GTA with just an OP.....all I can say to that is ...Diva pretty women can sell anything...lololololol

Time and time again I hear people on this board referring to OP as only for commercial.

True we do have some rather large commercial jobs (thanks to OP) but, we like everybody else on this board like, the "CASH IN HAND TODAY" jobs, ei. residential.

When we discovered OP, we opened our business up to all kinds of new marketing tecniques. Allow me to give some examples and for those who can be there, I will show you and prove to you that what I say is true on the 19th of November at Kleen Kuip.

For those of you in the states Im sure John would have no problem coming out and showing you!

Commercial Reasons for uping OP;

Especially for heavily traveled businesses ei. hotel, restaurant, gym, daycare centers, etc.

With drying time is under an hour (usually under half an hour) an area can be walked on almost immediatly. When carpets are dry this fast there is less worry for places that have tile next to carpet. No longer a need to keep those "caution wet floor" signs up for half a day. If the carpet is dry patrons are at no risk of slipping when they step off the carpet and on to tile. Therefore the owner is at no risk of being sued. LOL

Also we have no hoses, very little noise and NO over bearing chemical smells. There is not chance for wickback because the carpet is clean, DRY and vaccumed before we leave.

Op method cleans the whole carpet fiber by

• lightly wetting with a prespray
• allowing dwell time
• lifting and scrubbing each carpet fiber with a WET pad
• oscillation and rotary action wipe the fibre intirely from all sides
• leaving each fibre residue free, clean and dry

No Shampoo or foaming cleanser is ever used.

RESIDUE FREE this is important 

• the less residue the softer the carpet
• the less residue the less chance of rapid resoil
• Residue works on dirt like a magnet works on metal
• so once again the less residue on the TOP of the carpet = the less dirt will be attracted = the LONGER carpet will stay cleaner.

NON TOXIC, TOTALLY FREE RINSING NON-RESIDUAL FORMULATION, BIOLOGICALLY AND ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE PRODUCTS. PET SAFE AND BABY SAFE!!!!

These things make a difference in offices and HOMES.

People want carpet that is soft and clean. They want to be able to lay on it, put their babies on it without worry. THEY WILL PAY MORE FOR THIS. This is what OPing offers.

How often do you get customers that are so happy with the job that you have done that not only do they not cringe over the amount but they TIP you and happily refer your service to family and friends??

This is what we experience now a days.

I remember doing a house where four girls  (with long hair) three cats a dog and a father lived. the carpet, which Im certain was purchased white was now a shade of greyish blackish BLAH!  After using HWA and rotary (this is before we had an OP machine) for what seemed like hours, trying to get the hair up I finally resorted to using a carpet brush on my hands and knees. We spent 4 grulling hours cleaning this mans house, we left with $150.00 and a feeling like the job was just not done.

We no longer have days like this...

With the oscillating Pad Machine Hair is no longer a challenge nor is dirt. and the day we redid that house we charged double and finished the job in half the time. I didn't have to brush out the hair the oscillation lifted it right out. The dirt was a breeze and there was very little residue (from prior cleanings) left.  That Gentleman is a real estate agent, he never referred us before but since we cleaned his house with the OP we have had 14 jobs from his office, that was a month ago. hmmmm

And just for the record, those who have continually posted about what hotels will and will not pay. Don't speak unless you know. Certain hotels that have been mentioned and it has been said that they will only pay under 10 cents per square foot well, WE have recently aquired their business and YES we are getting 38 cents per square foot.

Another place that was mentioned ,they are a little bit stingier but after seeing the job we did are now paying us 30 cents per square foot. We also, as of this morning were hired to do their tile and grout. $1.00 per square foot and if we reseal it we'll be getting $2.00 per square foot.

In the spring we plan on offering our concrete cleaning service aswell. As it stands right now we have our first BIG concrete cleaning job in an underground parking lot and we are being paid $75.00 PER PARKING SPACE

God, what a life...ONE MACHINE DOES IT ALL!!! Well worth the $3000.00 investment. Wouldn't you say?

WHEN YOU OFFER SOMETHING DIFFERENT ESPECIALLY IF IT WORKS, THEY WILL PAY!

We went from charging $150.00 for a house and haggeling to no end with customers to being paid $600.00 to $700.00 a house PLUS Tips and numerous referrals.

But Doug would it not be great if it worked and we could ditch these God for saken truckmounts, they only break down when you are the busiest, never during the slow times

We have an op machine and use it the malls when water and running hoses is a pain in the butt, never had a complaint about the cleaning, just how fast we get in and out of the job.
