Rotary brushes over the fiber and "usually" uses a bonnet, which is thick and does not get INTO the fibers, OP digs by nature, as it oscillates to lays the fibers all ways and wipes them off with a thin cotton terri towel.
The depth of cleaning and the end result are totally different.

I use bonnet cleaning fairly regularily and have to say that I pull a lot of dirt out with my bonnets...they are extremely dirtry when I'm done. I also bonnet after HWE and my bonnets still remove dirt...So my comment is that not too many systems actually remove ALL the dirt...a combination of different systems works best.

A bonnet does swirl some dirt around, however it does remove more than it leaves behind. I get a lot of referals from my bonnet cleaning...so the proof is in the results.

Try a 100% cotton pad on your Rotary as opposed to your synthetic Bonnet and you will find out very quickly how much more soil is removed.

PS: On some Rotaries it is difficult to keep the cotton pad in motion without it flipping out and away, but well worth a try.

"Why do we dry our bodies with a cotton towel and not a synthetic towel"?????????
